The Indy Pulse founders are a group of educators passionate about spoken word and its potential effects on education: Lauren Hall, Camea Davis, Daniel Harting and Tony Delarosa. Each leader will be assigned to help with addressing the challenges of each school by channeling content and voices that best suit the schools cultural and educational needs. If a school's main issue revolves around the subject of "bullying and violence," the poet leader will direct their instruction and workshops towards proactively coping with these issues through performance poetry, and ultimately finding ways to overcome these challenges.
